My name is Ethan Garrity.
I am a Father and a Husband...
I am a Son and a Brother...
I am a Best Friend...

I am a Photographer.

I never wanted to write this page and sound like almost every other photographer out there... about how I knew that this is what I always wanted to do... nope, not me. I just wanted to make movies... put pictures and sound together that would make people feel (FEEL) something.

Then in 2004 following a trip to France (thank-you to my beautiful wife Jenn) I was showing some pictures at a party and someone made the comment about me "having an eye for composition". I didn't think about it much, was actually kind of embarrassed and humbled at the nice words (who, me?). As time went on, my pictures started generating more comments and I started wondering, "is this it?". "Is this what I should chase?".

So it really wasn't a calling... more of a convincing.

When I sit in front of the computer going through photos from a recent shoot I get excited at how amazing people can be... the sides that I see that maybe they don't...

To that end my goal is always reaching for perfection behind the camera (which I probably will always be chasing). I work until my client is happy.
